Shabbat
Shabbat at Beth Messiah is more than a service; it’s an opportunity. Those who attend experience traditional and creative forms of worship as well as covenant renewal. The service consists of liturgy and music in both Hebrew and English, as well as thoughtful engagement with the Torah. The service wraps up with Kiddush, but the delight of the day continues. We offer a light lunch, social togetherness and Torah study, as we strive to provide various forms of Shabbat nourishment and rest.
Youth Programs
Beth Messiah's youth programs offer learning and flourishing opportunities for young people ages 0-18. The programs aim to inspire and cultivate Jewish life and practice within a messianic context. The curriculum is diverse. It emphasizes Judaism in many forms, including Bar/Bat Mitzvah training, language, history, custom, and ethics. Among other aspects, Youth Programs include Hebrew School--striving to spark a love for Hebrew language, a Teen Program--with compelling discussion topics, invigorating social events and enduring relationships, and Camp Yeladim--a one week summer camp which immerses children in genuine Messianic Jewish expression and education while providing animated recreational activities.
Messianic Studies Institute
Messianic Studies Institute (MSI) is a unique institute for lifelong learning that empowers you to be transformed by the Jewish heritage and essence of the faith. MSI's dynamic curriculum unlocks the Biblical languages, Scripture in its continuity from Genesis to Revelation, and the Messianic Jewish worldview important to understanding and knowing Yeshua the Messiah.
MSI features ONGROUND and ONLINE courses, with the hub being the MSI website where you may access and manage your syllabi, course workbooks, handouts, reviews, and more. MSI allows students the opportunity to take individual courses without committing to any certificate program, but encourages commitment to such programs. There are no prerequisites for any MSI course except in the sequential Biblical language courses.
